ccg = collectible card game, which is what Legends, Hearthstone, etc are. If he was talking about ESO, it's a terrible game, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking to play an MMO. WoW is on top with Legion release, and if you want more of a story experience I'd go with Final Fantasy, even if it is a bit linear.


Only fighting game I ever really got into is Marvel vs Capcom.. the other ones are too slow for me.

Yeah, that's what I heard about ESO. I guess I'll keep avoiding it. I'm way ahead of you for Final Fantasy...I've played just about every game in the series. I'm getting really excited for FFXV.

Have you played FF XIV? It's free to play up to level 20, and one character can play every class. You can play every class (~12?) to level 20, not just a one and done thing. If I remember correctly 20 is high enough to do a few different dungeons and fight Ifrit (big boss fight).

Wow, I did not know this. I guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend now. I skipped XI and XIV just because it seemed like it might be even more of a time sink than a single player FF entry. Plus, when XI came out I was a poor college student.

I was wondering why so many people were lined up in Gamestop today. They were there for NBA 2K17. I went to switch out my copy of Madden 17 that I bought two weeks ago that was pretty much a faulty disc.

People are dumb. Why would you lineup to play a game you basically already bought last year?

How is Madden? I've put off buying it since FIFA 17 comes out soon and I always put way more time into that game than I do Madden. Kind of miss it though to be honest.

This is a defense/special teams year. They hooked up those two parts of the game and made some cool changes with it. They also streamlined Franchise mode a bit but just a minor tweak. You made the right choice going with FIFA first since you play it more often.

I'm not into footy so I have never touched a FIFA title.

NP. It's not your typical FF game, but I really enjoyed it for a couple months. Have fun.

Is this actually that meaningful to game play or just fanbois being fanbois? I know way back when I played some sports games, like early 2k, that the individual players didn't really matter much or maybe I was naive and never got that in depth.
