The gameplay mechanics are great, the game looks cool and runs well even on old machines.
Seriously, I approached it thinking it would be just a stupid, pointless spinoff that is only there to monetize the Elder Scrolls world in yet another way .. but it's not. It's well designed, well thought out and can provide hours upon hours of fun - for free.

How does it compare to the actual Elder Scrolls entries? I've been back and forth on getting this - honestly, I'm not interested unless it gives me the Elder Scrolls experience, but with actual people.

ESO is pretty dope.

I think Yac was referring to ES: Legends the card game, not ESO.

He says Elder Scrolls Online right in his post.

Trying to get better at playing Poison in Ultra Street Fighter IV. Soo difficult... or maybe I just suck.

There's a part of me that wants to get really good at fighting games...I have a soft spot for both MK and Street Fighter. I'm getting the hang of MK X (currently trying to get good with Ermac) since it's just dial-a-move, but I still can't get the timing for Street Fighter down. I've entered the world of frame counting, but it's tough to start thinking of the games that way.

I've been a big fighting game fan for 15 years and play a ton of games in the genre, but I'm not getting into learning 1-frame combos and stuff like that so much. I'll never be a pro, but I'm pretty ok at the fundamentals in a lot of fighting games and I like to stick to that instead of learning these long, absurdly difficult combo strings. Do you have an interest in any of the the other big series like Tekken, Dead or Alive, Virtua Fighter, King of Fighters, Soul Calibur, etc.?

Tekken, DOA, and a bit of Soul Calibur. Back in the day I played a bunch of Killer Instinct and Primal Rage. Those are all very much me button mashing, though...MK and Street Fighter are the only ones where I've attempted to learn the mechanics.

Learning fighting games like that adds a lot of depth to the games, but it requires tons of practice to get good and stay good. I just don't have time for that, unfortunately. Plus, I have other games to play.

True, but I find that with many games, I get back in the saddle after a few warmup matches. The only series where I feel like I've unlearned everything after a long absence is Tekken. A couple months with no Tekken = 10 layers of rust and a bad case of move list amnesia.

For me it is just one of those genres I always come back to. I just love playing this kind of game, even against the CPU.

Yeh, but his first sentence was "want a good ccg?".

ccg = collectible card game, which is what Legends, Hearthstone, etc are. If he was talking about ESO, it's a terrible game, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking to play an MMO. WoW is on top with Legion release, and if you want more of a story experience I'd go with Final Fantasy, even if it is a bit linear.

Only fighting game I ever really got into is Marvel vs Capcom.. the other ones are too slow for me.
