Prioritize.
As for tactical level - asides from several minor updates like new equipment or whatnot, there is one huge change - virtually every mission has a time limit, and it's rarely more than 8 turns. Unless you start the scenario in cover, which means the timer will start when you are discovered, not when you enter mission area. This is a change I thought was horrible .. until I actually played the game (and completed it). Gone are the "let's all camp in overwatch and have one guy lure the aliens to us" missions, in most cases anyway. The game is challenging, it actually forces you to act and sometimes compromise tactically.
Generally X-com 2 is the game X-com wanted to be, but failed.
The turn limit sounds interesting and like a pretty drastic change. I'm also hoping that I'll like the base management in X-Com 2 better. In the previous game, I pretty much hated the way it worked (for a myriad of tiny reasons). The co-dependencies for getting and deploying a sattelite, for example, really just felt annoying to me. I loved how you could just buy and place stuff in the original. It felt both more flexible and more transparent.

Just restarted Witcher 2. Only Witcher game I've played and only for about a day. I've been meaning to get back into it but it's been so long that I knew I'd have to do the ****ing tutorial again, cause the combat system is just a tad too complex to just remember after like two years or whatever.

OMFG I hate this tutorial. It should only take about twenty minutes or something, but that is a long time for something to be this tedious. And I keep stopping to do something more interesting so it's taking forever. From what I remember this is a good game, but you should never include interrupting instructions on how to use the left and right joysticks in your game. WE ****ING KNOW, *******S!!!

I find unskippable tutorials to be inexcusable. No one would suggest that it is allright to have the first few scenes in a movie be boring, so why is it ok to start out a game that way? People always tell me this is a small thing to complain about, but it really annoys me. I'm just thinking "ok, so if your game is ok with wasting my time, I'm ok with ejecting the disc and start playing something else".

I won't ever have time for all those games anyway, so I'd say it is reasonable to have unreasonable standards

Nice win rate. Do they have a hidden ELO/matchmaking system?

And thanks, I'm quite proud of my win rate.

I couldn't figure out what ELO meant either so I ignored it.

That's the difference between you and me. That, and I never drove my girlfriend to heroin.
