After slugging away at Wasteland 2 for hours and not really getting anywhere in the game and also not really understanding the battle tactics that well..... everything has now fallen into place.
I think Wasteland II is now a great game and a hidden gem in the huge exploration type of apocalyptic scenarios once you understand how its combat and interaction work. Most reviewers tend to say the same thing, if you persevere with it, it's certainly worth it.

That GTA V mod is nuts.
Currently playing Bloodborne The Old Hunters DLC on New Game +++. I can't make it out of the first area. Or even venture far into said area. Way too hard. Good to be playing Bloodborne again though. It's so dark and creepy. It makes my skin crawl. |

Man, I love Bloodborne. It's so engrossing. Finally made it to the first boss in the DLC but was quickly slaughtered, and dropped over 500,000 blood echoes (ie souls) in the process, and then on my way back to retrieve the 500,000 blood echoes I was killed again. So now they're gone forever! All I could do was laugh. Unlike this fella:
And this vid's even better. What was it Plato said, You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation. How true: |

Still playing Bloodborne DLC. Still can't complete it. But I love the game more than ever. All PS4 owners owe it to themselves to at the very least try the game. It's hard as nails but you won't find a more visceral videogame. It's a class act:

Just got a bunch of old Wii games. Tried out Epic Mickey. It's a pretty good game, but it's not worth a whole playthrough. Next I'm gonna try Lego Indiana Jones. I can't wait, since I loved Lego Star Wars.

Finally beat Bloodborne DLC. Loved every moment. Even each death. First PS4 game I've platinumed.
Has anyone played Unravel? It was released last week, and looks gorgeous, but supposedly lacks substance, and I'm put off by it being a digital-only release. Might have to wait for the inevitable sale: So pretty. |
