I may talk a big Zelda game but I've never beaten the first one. This is the farthest I've gotten. Don't have a memory card for my gamecube so I just gotta keep it going til I beat it. It's pretty damn hard. You're just dropped in this infinite rectangle with no talking trees or giant owls to guide you along the way, pretty much gotta figure it out on your own. You may come across some dudes who'll give you some esoteric and ambiguous message ie "meet the old man at the grave" . Well alright man. The map is outrageous and you'll find yourself going in circles pretty easily. Never could make much out of the storyline, and there's no order that things really need to be dine. I still haven't found the second dungeon even though the first and the third through fifth. But it's a challenge and it's keeping me entertained and that's what its all about. My gamecube is just on at my house right now and I'd be pretty disappointed if it got turned off.

Fallout. 3 or 4. Even New Vegas will suffice. I just can't stop. Help me!

As hard as the first game is, the sequel is even harder. Wow, Nintedo had no mercy back in the day.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I've about given up playing the second one. Apparently though it has like the largest map in the series, or one of them

Mostly been playing Mario Kart 8 online. So much fun. Best game this gen in my opinion. The gameplay is so tight and deep and polished. Attention to detail is crazy.

Playing Quake 4.
I really love those older, stupid, linear shooters. I wish games like that still got made, nowadays everything seems to be about open world, multiplayer and epic storylines.

Yeah, gaming has a changed a lot. And mostly for the worst in my opinion. Gone are the days when most games are built around strong mechanics. These days a philosophical idea, story, landscape, even a character, can be the foundation for a game. Many designers seem intent on creating an 'experience' instead of creating fun, and as a consequence a lot of modern games are no more than walk-em ups. Walk here. Walk there. Walk here. Boring.

I think games nowadays are more awesome than ever for people who really want to immerse themelves in the virtual world. But for casual gamers like me, who just want to stupidly shoot some monsters while listening to music for an hour a week, those are too much effort to get into and not worth all the time it would take.
