I'd hate to seem like I take down holy cows just to offend people, but I honestly couldn't connect with Kingdom Hearts at all. It was really cool at first to see Goofy and Donald in glorious 3D, with great voice acting, but it was all down hill from there for me. Yac mentioned the Witcher and I honestly can't play those games either - neither any of those much praised Bioware games. The general rule seems to be that 99,9% of any sort of RPG end up boring me to tears, but I still feel complelled to try them all. Just for the record, I would agree that this is moronic behaviour. |

Mad Max I can't say I was planning on getting this, but as I've still got a few weeks before SOMA comes out and then Fallout 4 in November, I figured now was as good as ever a time to try and get into this open world sandbox game. To the game's credit it is easily the prettiest desert sandbox game that has ever been made and it is probably the best optimized game I've played in a long time. I've cranked everything up to max and the framerate never drops below 60, even when I'm driving fast. The fighting mechanics are a pretty good copy of the Batman games from recent years and there's quite a lot of upgrades you can get so there's a lot of variety. Not that far into the game yet and I have just kind of focused on missions to unlock all the beginning stuff, but I think this will be a fun little time sink for awhile. |

Rampage Knights This game is surprisingly fun and surprisingly difficult simultaneously. If you're like me and are into games that involve hack n slash combat, and involves enemies in procedurally generated dungeons and areas, this game is certainly up your alley. I feel like there's a hint of Binding of Isaac mixed with Rogue Legacy, which are also two of my favorite games. You can upgrade your equipment, get silly hats, and the controls are super easy if you're using a controller. I think i'll be enjoying this game more as I play it more. Only 10 bucks on Steam, so it's pretty cheap if you're into this type of thing. Also, the music is awesome. |

Believe the hype. Kind of lacks meaty story points like prior Metal Gears but it makes up in gameplay. It really expects you to play smart or else your mince meat if you're playing un-strategically. Plus the beginning is fucking bananas. Have you played the previous Metal Gears?
