Zombi

As a game, this is fantastic, as a PC port it's abysmal. No graphics options, super low FOV, and some awful textures that do not do the game any favors. I ended up playing for 90 minutes and decided to test the new Steam Refund system, however if Ubisoft decides to show this game a little bit of love and fix the problems with the port I'll be more than happy to give it another go because as a survival-horror game with roguelike elements it's unmatched.

Tis a good game with some wonderful Dark Souls-like mechanics.

Rocket League

Just spent the last 3.5 hours playing this with a friend of mine. If you haven't picked this up yet, do it. It's worth the 20 bucks. I'll be making a post in my journal about this as well.

Tenchu 2 (PS1) and Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven (PS2)!
Ordered both from Amazon recently and I find them thoroughly engrossing.
I love their dense atmosphere and intense stealth gameplay. The controls in Tenchu 2 are a bit crap though, but I can live with it.
Tenchu 2 even has a level designer - I love it when console games have level designers!

The real fun is in trying to perfect your score on every level, so the Tenchu games are generally very replayable.

I played the Sh*t outta Tenchu, that game needs a remake, that's the only stealth game i recall where you use a ninja.

A friend lent me Bioshock infinite but instead of playing that im finishing Ogre tactics for the Gba and grinding on Breath of fire 3.

Dude, that **** is just warmed-over Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

I think it's better than FF tactics, ive played them both and i would concede that the guild feature in FFT is a pretty cool addition but Ogre tactics has a better battle system and the story is better too.

You can spar with your owm teammates in that game in case you want to grind a couple of Levels and the Job classes are more interesting than in FFT imo.

FFT for the PS1 is still the best tactics game ever though, if they had ported that same version for the Gba i would prefer it over Ogre tactics.

On the PS2 there's also Red Ninja (Sadly complete ****) and Shinobido, which is flawed but still so damn awesome that I consider it not only my favourite stealth game but my favourite PS2 game, hands down.
There's nothing quite like sitting in the rain, soaking up the atmosphere while watching a guard patrol near by, waiting for the right moment to strike. Then I throw a salmon into the center of the guard-encampment, free the caged grizzly bear with a thrown knife and watch the chaos unfold XD
Mostly, its a lot like Tenchu (same developer as Tenchu 1) but it added a few interesting things here and there, including potion-brewing.

Ive never played Shinobido but it looks cool.

I wish i had a Ps2, there's alot great games in that console that went under the radar and this seems like one of them. if you still have a Ps2 seek out Way of the Samurai 2. it's not a stealth game but it's the best samurai game ive ever played.

Yes, a lot of stuff kind of went under the radar - especially the last few years after the newer consoles had come out. I have a lot of completely awesome arcade shoot 'em ups from those last few years, most of which are hard to find now. Any shooter made by Psikyo was awesome!

I have Way of the Samurai 2 and have completed it once, as I am eager to play anything taking place in old Japan! WOTS2 is a cool game and I still have my save from a few years back. You're supposed to complete it multiple times, seeing how your actions have different ripple effect. Samurai Groundhog Day :P Cool game.
