Have any of you had to do a system restore for the PS3? Currently having to do one now, I think too many nights of forgetting to turn it off has finally bit me in the ass.

My question to you is... how long is this **** going to take? It's been restoring for the past half hour and it's only at 5%... barely creeping along. Should I expect it to even work? I've looked through the support threads but I trust the opinion of my fellow Musicbanterians even more.

I think it depends on how big the hard drive is and how much data is on it. I've heard that a 40gb one can take upwards to 2 hours so I don't think you have much to worry about unless it's this time tomorrow and it hasn't moved.
