Right now im at a part where i have to break some old guy's curse, he's in the ruins of a castle, sound familiar?

Breaking the curse involves fighting skeletron, pretty tough using basic equipment, but doable. Breaking the curse allows access to the "castle" (it's really the dungeon I was talking about earlier). I probably should start playing Terraria again myself, I logged a lot, and I mean a lot of hours into it. (pretty sure I beat all the bosses and get the super powered weapons).

Goblin guy appears after a goblin invasion, and you can find him underground. Mechanic appears in the dungeon after you break the curse.

Darkest Dungeon

I commented on this a few weeks ago but I spent a good deal of last night playing this and it may be my new favourite hated thing ever. It's basically Dungeons & Dragons as DM'ed by H.P. Lovecraft (minus the rampant racism), with about all the luck that comes with playing D&D. Basically you manage adventurers as you send them out on quests and have to manage their mental health, but you really have to unlearn A LOT of things you're use to in video games that have stress management. At first you'll try to do everything to keep your guys happy, but eventually they will die and you will get new ones, and you'll realize just how disposable these assholes are.

That being said, there's a lot of RNG (random number generator) going on and there are times where you'll just get hosed regardless of how balanced your party is or what buffs they have. On my first playthrough my crusader and highwayman died in the tutorial (although that was mostly my fault) and I had to restart. So if you're not a fan of chance, then this game is definitely not for you.

It would also be remiss of me not to mention that this game is in Early Access, but I feel like it's one of the only games in that program that is actually worth buying now as the amount of effort put into the game really shines through and it feels like it could be a full release at maybe $10. I do feel though that this game is going to be on a lot of Top 10 lists for this year though.

^I really want to check that out. Im watching a guy do a lets play / playthrough of it and it looks like a lot of fun. The art style reminds me of Don't Starve, and that game is fun as well. I may look into it as it being an early access, it looks surprisingly good at this point.

Anyway...

I've mentioned this game here before, but I wanted to mention it again. I saw it in my games library and thought "maybe I should play for a few minutes to kind of give my character a good workout", all of a sudden i've spent 2 hours playing it and completing quests. I think the main reason why that happened is that I really feel like this game goes in depth with each quest, and it doesn't always feel like you're doing the same thing every time. Plus the boss fights are a lot of fun when you're playing as a Berserker. Planning to play it some more today, but it's been a while since i've been legitimately excited to hop back into an RPG style game.

I asked cause i play it on the Ps3 and wanted to see if we could play it together.

Btw, the goblin invasion happened!!

Now the goblin Tinkerer should appear, right?

It happened while i was exploring a crimson block dungeon.
i was told there were hearts there but i needed bombs to explore it and that's what im doing now and i already found a gun and a staff there.

I'm certainly enjoying it, it adds it's own sort of flare to a first person shooter that isn't just "shoot as many bullets as you can". It feels to me that it's more about strategy and keeping as much ammo as you can.

It might be worth giving it a shot, especially since in Poland you can buy "old games" like this one for 2-5$ (box version). I know they were planning this to become a huge franchise but it failed financially and nothing came out of those plans.

During the weekend though, I finally got around to playing The Wolf Among Us.
Wow is all I can say. I'm currently at the beginning of episode 4 and this reminds me of binge watching of great tv series like The Wire or GoT. It's simply impossible to stop after just one.

The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead are both examples of storytelling done right. I enjoy The Wolf Among Us a little more just for the atmosphere of it.
