Finished Dragon age 3, took me 62 or so hours. Overall a fun game with some minor and some not so minor problems. It's pretty, it's huge, the characters are memorable ... but it's so easy! I know I played on "normal" but come on, there is something seriously wrong when dragons and bosses can't even get through your guard (something they have to get through to get to a warriors hit points) ? When your team dies quickly and easily and you're left to hit a dragon over and over, for 100-200, when the dragon constantly flies away, jumps around and has roughly 264k hp! and despite his best efforts, he can't get past your guard .....
And don't get me started on the final boss, so ... plain and unimaginative. And easy...
If it wasn't for the mediocre ending, the uneven difficulty level and some minor things, this game would get 8+/10, maybe even 9 from me.
As it is, 7/10 is about right.
I also played some Dishonored (yes, it's been a while since it came out) and I have to say, it's really fun! The plot is silly and predictable, but the world is engulfing and the whole movement/combat/stealth mechanics are amazing. Reminds me of the first Crysis and the combos one could do with suit powers then.

Apotheon

It's basically a side scrolling blend of Castlevania and God of War but done with a Greek Pottery art design. Very fun.

You should definitely give it a go (and watch my video on it). I've been following the development of the game since 2013 and was sad when it didn't come out last year and it seemed all info on it was outdated. Then just out of nowhere it shows up on my new releases page on Steam like some kind of avenging angel. Now if only Routine would do the same thing...

This sounds kinda interesting. Coincidentally, I've been playing a lot of Castlevania lately. Got a DS with Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia.

Pete, this game is ****ing fantastic. I'm already in love with the art style, the ambient soundtrack, and the combat. Definitely worth the money I spent.

I made it up to Artemis last night but I'm having trouble fighting her. Basically she turns you into a deer and you have to run to 4 different points on the map while avoiding arrows and wolves. Then she turns into a deer and you have to hunt her down. I keep on forgetting that I have traps and whatnot so I'll give it another go tonight.

It's a fun game but I don't really know if I want to make a series out of it, and Black Mesa is having some really bad technical issues which is why I haven't updated that series in a couple of days.

And yeah, turning off v-sync was a stupid idea.
