Far Cry 4 I probably wouldn't have bothered with this if it didn't come free with my 970 but it's definitely a solid game. It's pretty much Far Cry 3.5 but that's not surprising how popular the formula for Far Cry 3 proved to be. They did actually reuse some ideas from Far Cry 2 which surprised me and I do kind of like the mountainous terrain. Story is kind of meh though and I don't know if I like Pagen Min as much as Vas, although he does have some charm to him. I doubt I'll finish it, but I definitely don't regret the time I'm putting into it. |

I have a question for Steam users. Do you buy games just because they look good and the price is low? And then end up not even putting more than 2 to 3 hours into it? I have a lot of games in my library, and most of them I hardly ever play. I know i'm wasting money but man the sales are sometimes too good.

I'm not as bad as some people, and a lot of my games that haven't been installed came from Humble Bundles or were gifted to me.
I'm actually about to start a new weekly LP series dealing with my excess games called "Steam Library Clean Out". In answer to your question though, I think Valve/Steam kind of found their "combo meal" psychological trick. You spend more money while thinking you're saving money. |

I have a few that were gifted as well. I always get in certain moods and a lot of different games fit those moods. One minute I wanna play Rogue Legacy, and the next i'm down for a Diablo III / Torchlight esque adventure. I just got the Stronghold Collection that was on sale because i've heard good things about it. Haven't played any of them before.
What's your Youtube name btw, I'd love to watch your LP's. |

Anyhow I actually did my first video in the series on this game: The Fall This is a very interesting game and definitely not what I was expecting at first glance. You play as A.R.I.D., the AI in a combat suit that is trying to get it's wearer first aide on a hostile planet. The gameplay is a mixture of adventure game like puzzles, 2D action shooty bits, and some platforming. At first I was just going to do a quick 30 minute video for a first impression, but sadly those 30 minutes were the least interesting part of the game. After I turned off the record I decided to play for awhile longer and that's when the story really got interesting. I don't want to spoil too much because it's an incredibly well crafted story, all starring artificial intelligences that compelled me enough to play through to the end. Fans of Asimov will definitely find this story enjoyable. |

After playing this for about an hour now, I have to say that I ****ing love it. The gameplay is wonderful. The controls feel great, and the graphics are pretty decent to good. Everything seems perfectly balanced and it's a lot of fun. I'm definitely going to be putting a lot of hours into this.
