I always found the story in CoD II to be one of the best. And at the time, the graphics were not so bad, either. Possibly my favorite CoD, but I also enjoyed the hell out of Black Ops I. Damn good story in that one too.

It's been years since I played a CoD game, but I don't remember 2 even having a story. I just remember it being a bunch of unconnected missions. And I've heard Black Ops I/II have interesting stories. I kind of want to play MW2, since I hear it has the best and longest single player MW campaign, but the Black Ops games actually sound like good games, rather than just being interactive Michael Bay movies.

I haven't played Black Ops II yet, but the first one was very well done. I got so into it that I honestly was excited to play it more when I had the chance. The ending was very interesting and I enjoyed the way they went with it, don't worry I won't spoil it. They did a great job with dialogue and voice actors as well which made it that much better.

Definitely give the Modern Warfare games a try as well as they are very very good. Haven't played them in a long time, but just talking about them makes me want to pick them up.

I just wish they'd make one more WWII CoD, so that I can play as a German. They could call it, "Call of Duty 5: Badass, GI-Killing, Nazi Mamma Jamma". It'll sell like horribly offensive hotcakes.

Me too.

Unfortunately, it just seem like the Call of Duty franchise is banking mostly on making the graphics better, and multiplayer. I haven't played the recent games like Ghosts or Advanced Warfare.

That's one reason why Battlefield 1942 was so awesome. There's nothing quite like raining machine gun fire down upon American G.I.s on Omaha Beach.

I've seen that name mentioned multiple times, but never played it myself. I'll try to find a copy somewhere.

It's pretty old. But the battlefields are huge. Like, you can go several minutes without seeing anybody if you go "the wrong way". Great game. Although it's pretty much a multiplayer game, and I don't know how many people are still going to be playing it after so long. You can play offline, but it's not really the same. Of course, it's a computer game, and computer gamers tend to never let good online games die no matter how old they are. I remember about a decade ago there still being people playing the first Red Alert from '96.

Would you KINDLY?

Surprised nobody has said this already. Bioshock 1 is the best of the series IMO.

I'm almost to the 40 hour mark for hours played on The Binding of Isaac Rebirth, and i've gotten 86/178 steam achievements for the game already. I've been doing really good as of late.
