**** I forgot that this game is from the time where 'hard' difficulty meant it was flipping IMPOSSIBLE. I refuse to go back and choose a different difficulty though.
I never played the second game (the third Dark Forces game), but I was obsessed with the one before it as a kid. I'm pretty sure that was the first game where you got a lightsaber, could use the Force, and you even got to choose between the Light side and the Dark side.

bioshock 2 very good game.
Donkey Kong Country 3, it's aight. The boss fights seem uninspired and you can't help but get this feeling that rare just wanted to get to the n64 already.

Super Mario galaxy 2 is a blast.

Point Lookout!
If you don't have any DLC and can choose one - choose this one. A surprisingly large extra map appears, accessible by boat. The new swampy region is full of tough opponents, amazing quests (the Chinese spy quest is by far my favorite f3 quest) and scary and sad places (like the concentration camp for the Chinese, from the China-USA war).
Mothership Zeta sucks, it's mostly very repetitive combat and full of glitches- at least mine was.
Operation Anchorage is kind of fun, though there is little role playing and only action.
The Pitt is ok, the change of scenery is nice (quite impressive at times even) and the story ain't bad, but there were moments I felt it could have used some more work.
And finally, Broken Steel - the continuation of the main quest could have been better, but the increased level cap (30 instead of 20), tons of new items and perks and the ability to continue playing after you're done with the main quest make it quite ok too in total.
Yes, I've spent some time in the radioactive wastelands.

Speaking of radioactive wastelands, we're only like a week away from the premiere of Wasteland 2! Who's excited?

I've been playing Fallout 3 for more than a few days now and I'm not even anywhere near completing the main quest. How big is this damn game?

It'd be best if you didn't think about that. You can spend weeks with that game without touching the main game. There aren't as many things to do as in an Elder Scrolls game, but it's comparable.

A friend of mine who's more into shooters than rpg games followed only the main quest and finished the game in under 6 hours. He wasn't rushing anywhere, but that's what it took him. "What a crap game" he said, the fool
The game is huge, but the main quest is .. well, short for one. somewhat meh a times too.

@Yac

I pretty much agree with everything you said. Point lookout is the best one and the best bargain among the DLC's.

Secondly i highly recommend getting Operation Anchorage cause the equipment you get from that DLC is OP as hell.

Not big enough.
i highly suggest exploring and not just sticking to the main story.
If you just plow through the main story you'll get a decent game but if you explore the Fallout universe and submerge yourself in that sh*t you'll get a great game..
