That said, if you miss your punished, even more so than other metal gears/ The cool part in this is you can drive cars, so if your caught you can make a very action packed getaway literally driving the truck through the gate. |

I was thinking about this game yesterday, and I decided to download the ROM and play it on my emulator. It's basically a Legend of Zelda clone with guns, but there is also a good deal of puzzles, and oh, you get to play blackjack in the game. It's pretty good, and it was one of the first games I ever played.

wish i had read more about wii u sales figures before purchasing, not buyers remorse at all. It's just unfortunate having to expect that the next nintendo console will likely be announced within the next 12-18 months if the Wii U doesn't have a strong holiday season.
The games are a blast. It seems like every AAA game i've been playing on ps4/pc is some form of a FPS or openworld game, it's fun to go back to tight controls and nostalgic gameplay. New super mario bros is great. |

I personally am a little sick of Mario already, i see nintendo using the same formula every time only with slight little tweaks here or there, specifically in Mario party games or Games like Smash bros..
Don't get me wrong those games can be fun but every new game is like the same sh*t with different stages, and honestly Mario is very iconic and all but at the end he is just Mario a plumber who somehow has become the most recognisable character in videogames, Not Samus or even Link despite both characters having more depth than him.. I think Nintendo is like Mcdonalds they keep selling you the same ****ty food as new and they are such a power house when it comes to brands they can get away with it..

You and a lot of people seem to feel this way. However, I think nintendo's goal was to offer a modern version of their series for each subsequent generation of children. It was really only recently children started playing call of duty, assassins creed as oppose to super mario. If I was there age nowadays of course Assassins Creed is going to look more appealing than mario.
The mcdonalds comparison is a good one. Both have relied on the things that made them immensely wealthy and are seemingly lost in a rapidly changing market. Both companies can stand to lose for quite some time but as a publicly traded companies they're "heyday" certainly looks over. This is all fairly reactionary. They could both turn it around easily, but they need a new identity, some fresh faces. |

And maybe a more well rounded focus, i think Nintendo has gotten lazy in their brand exploitation their main roster of characters get all the good games and promotion to the point if you ask ppl what games do they look forward from nintendo they'll probably yell like a bro "SMASH BROS!" and probably won't know any other upcoming title.
Nintendo didn't used to be like this, right until the Wii they had a chance to build a good console with a balanced game library If you look at their roots with the NES and SNES they had a more balanced library of games while still keeping their more iconic characters a notch higher than non exclusive characters, you had alot of variety in game genres so shooter fans or rpg fans all had the same console Nowadays i think FPS gamers gravitate more towards Xbox and platform games gravitate towards Nintendo, it seems consoles today are more about specializing in one big game franchise that is a top seller and wthvr the genre of that game is that will be their strong point.

To their credit though their game library for their hand held systems is not bad, i think it's more balanced than their game library for their consoles but even there they still milk the sh*t outta pokemon games by basically recycling them!

Downloaded this on ps4, I know this game should be frustrating but I've made my peace with the fact this is a game I will never complete so I'm just enjoying the journey. Seriously unforgiving but incredibly enjoyable. I also picked up pure pool with the change, I don't usually buy games like this as they're usually rubbish but once you get those silly guide lines out of the way it plays really well. unfortunately I can't seem to be able to remove the white contact marker and the rules are American, still when you've got your drunk friends around this is ideal entertainment. |

^it gets a lot easier. I hated it at first but once you collect more equipment it gets to be more enjoyable. Helps to only buy the upgrades that affect a specific type of class, too.
