Infamous:Second Son
Infamous is one of the more perplexedly underrated series of last gen, and continues this trend onto the ps4. Graphically the art is great and flexes the ps4 hardware to an extent. I'd argue it still doesn't look better than the last of us or uncharted, and could most likely run equally fine on the ps3. That being said this is the best entry in the series. It's one of those rare experiences that becomes more enjoyable as the game progresses. You get 4 different powers this time, all fully fleshed out. Its much faster, and the parkour has been virtually eliminated in favor of powers(righteously so)-why climb **** when you can jump over it mentality. The writing is tighter as well, actually having some laugh out loud moments, which was surprising given the main protagonist is somewhat douchey. Somehow the game makes him endearing by the end. The game also has a very indepth online adventure counterpart full of puzzle solving and looking for clues, examining evidence etc if thats your thing. Its not a completely novel idea for the medium, but have never seen it this fleshed out. I'd say this is the only ps4 game that needs owning, everything else can be played on current gen. 8.8/10 |

Glad to hear you think the second one is good and as much I liked climbing on walls, that got boring after a while, as cool as it was. I'm tempted to buy a console just for Infamous 2 because of how much I liked the first one, but I still think I'm going to hold out till Destiny or until one of my friends gets one. |

Infamous got a bit repetitive for my liking. I've only played the first when it debuted. I did it like it though, no lie.

I've been totally hooked on the android game 'Pocket Frogs', breeding game. Open to suggestions for more breeding games on playstore because I can't get enough of that **** and hardly touch actual consoles anymore.
Will post pictures of my frogs upon request :P

Xenonauts!
if you played the old UFO and X-COM games, you'll feel right at home. If you haven't - you'll get the gist in no time. Here's a review that will describe the game better than I would: Xenonauts review | PC Gamer And 85/100 is about right. |

battlefield 4
Havent played a battlefield game since bad company 2. This game is deep, seemingly infinite amount of unlocks. The graphics are impressive on ps4, which is hopefully the equivalent of ma settings. I don't know if its because of the 64 players or something but the game is a little more frustrating. You can never flank anyone without being spotted. The pathing, my favorite part of fps (learning the maneuvering and how to spot people around corners etc) is now more of run balls to the wall and pray you dont get sniped. This game seems so ideal for sniping its frustrating. I could either spawn and get sniped over and over near the objective or take q 15 minute treck to the far corner- without seeing anyone else- to finally get the damn sniper. Still fun and addictive as ever |
