I remember Lost Odyssey being pretty sweet too. Actually managed to make the whole hero-with-amnesia trope seem fresh.

There have been decent JRPG games, but nothing like it's heyday on the NES and SNES. That said though, it seems most people use the DS to sate their JRPG urges. There's also been a couple of them showing up on Steam, in either the form of old FF games being re-released, as well as new games like Ubisoft's Child of Light.
The fact of the matter is, fans of JRPGs need to accept the fact that they are not, and have not been, the target audience for a console that has influenced the design choices in video games, for quite some time now. People who enjoyed adventure games up until the late '90's/ early '00's had to accept that, and put a little more effort into finding the newer titles, but it's not like it's hard anymore to keep up with something considered niche in this day and age. |

You got the short end of the stick. My console is a launch one and still going fine with no errors.

Some **** is going to go down regarding TF2 tomorrow. I don't know if this is the End of the Line update with the movie, or the moonbase or bread update, but we're getting something most likely involving new weapons praise!
