@Batlord

Do you consider Fallout a Fps shooter? cause to me it's more like a Fp-rpg with guns lol

i have F3 and new vegas as well, and New vegas is not as good as F3 but it does have more features to change the story progression, for exmpl some DLC's actually change details in the main story and the ending.

But F3 has a better landscape and it has better graphics too.

Good thing is, New vegas is dirt cheap, i got it for like 20$ and that was when it was fairly new.

It's presented as an FPS, but since I generally never just freeshot, and always used that...shooty-aimy...thing that locked onto...stuff, then I never really saw it as a true FPS.

VATS.

Anyway, Fallout 3 and NV are essentially RPG FPS's, cause guns are like the only thing that can get you through the game (NV especially)

Dun know how anybody survived those ****ing albino radscorpions using just melee. Good lord those things were horrendous even with guns and two party members.
Took like a thousand shots with anything.

Glad you think so. It is certainly different, but it's far from like a 5/10 like I've seen 90% of the reviewers give it.

****IN A! >_<

To save bullets the best thing you can do is walk backwards while you sledgehammer their ass.

i quickly learned in NV that if you don't have a strong weapon you better stick to the road cause the wildlife in that game is pretty hardcore especially in the beginning of the game.

I used to do the same thing but I just hated that the sledgehammer took up so much weight.

That's one of the reasons I really liked NV more than 3, cause at the beginning of the game, I agree with you, you have to stick the road, but by the end of the game you've got party members, A-grade weapons and armor, and you can just annihilate anything (excluding DLC where the enemies are scaled).

I didn't really get that feeling at all when I played 3, I mean the alien blaster is great for the albino scorpions but obviously the ammo is limited.

Anyway, I expect Fallout 4 is five times as large as the map size of Skyrim, is 3rd person, and is drop-in-drop-out co-op like Destiny.

Also, /nerd moment is over now. >
I just bought this for spare change.

Now I'm thinking of getting Revelations. Heard it was supposed to be more of a survival horror game and am intrigued (full disclosure: never actually played an RE game before 5).

Getting Revelations depends on how much it costs: Do not pay more than $20 for it, it's not worth it if you payed the full price like I did.

I still haven't finished it because there's this one part I can not get past to save my life.

You're not missing much if you choose not to get it.

The atmosphere is nice, and it is definitely more of a survival horror game than the last 4 games or so, but the game is just too hard at points because the controls aren't that great and the gameplay is frustrating.
