My new official favourite game ever.

Spoiler for Big Pix:

Oh God.

That game caused me so much stress as a kid. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Fallout fan, but those side quests were just brutal!
*shudder*
Definitely one of the hardest games (to get 100% completion) that I've ever played. Thank GOD walkthroughs were commonplace by then.

I never understood why OoT had three save files, and MM had two. That ALSO caused me great stress with two siblings.

WW might be my least favorite zelda game. Traveling to different islands in that game takes FOREVER.

Did you not know about the cyclone teleport thing?

Yea didn't you get far enough to learn the teleportation cyclone thingy?

that saves alot of time, unlike you i actually enjoyed the boat rides it adds to the exploration of the game especially in the beginning

Wind Waker was/is fantastic from start to finish. There was so much detail put into the gameplay and story that is was just a lot of fun to play.

i agree and visually it's so beautiful and just cheery all the colours are bright and enticing.

That's mostly during the day time when night comes everything gets very dark and exploring can be a drag

For me it's A link to the past followed by Wind waker i have to say the Zelda franchise has been pretty amazing for such a popular franchise they took huge creative risk with it and since the beginning i mean the 1st Zelda for the Nes was a huge success and instead of sticking to that same format for Zelda 2 they completely changed it! and then they made A link to the past for the Snes and that sh*t just nailed it that game looks and plays perfectly

Same goes for Wind waker in fact i remember when Wind waker came out ppl were so used to the kind of format the N64 Zelda games had that Wind waker was received with alot of skepticism just cause it looked like a children's coloring book lol

but damn the game was awesome they again changed the formula and f*ckin nailed it i really hope they keep taking creative risk with the Zelda games

Aside from the visual style in Wind Waker, I think they've played it extremely conservative ever since OoT in pretty much every other area.

I really hope they take a new mix it up for the Wii U version.

1. You had to change the wind direction like every 5 seconds. Could and should have been designed better.

2. Yeah there's the teleportation thing, but what about the first half of the game before you're able to learn it? It's boring, and what other Zelda game has you take a half-hour to get somewhere?

Also, a lot of the difficulty/fun/challenge in this game came from the environment, and it was a lot more interactive than previous zelda games...but I would personally rather the challenge come from the puzzles, side quests (are there ANY side quests in this game at all!?), and from the combat. I didn't like flying through the air with the deku leaf for example. That was terrible.

Also hated the stealth part at the beginning. That was so awful and far too long. Remember in OoT when you see Zelda as a kid and you have to evade the guards? That was fun and easy, and this was neither.

I give tons of props for them trying something new and different, but this was not well done at all in my opinion.

Resident Evil 4 is really what I look for in a video game. It's just combat, upgrades, and puzzles. No other **** needed to make that an A+++ game.

Did anyone play this back in the day? An HD remaster of it and the sequel came out for PS3 last week and I had it pre-ordered. I love this game just as much as I did when I was 13. I've been blazing through it. The nostalgia <3

I'm pretty new to the "Tales of" franchises but I love it. I'm still working on Tales of Xillia.

I honestly thought it added some atmosphere to the game. It was really relaxing going from point A to point B when using the boat to get to different islands. Plus, there was the option of filling up the map by going through the entire ocean, which as a completionist, I really enjoyed.
