I'm excited to play. I'm installing it right now. And yeah, can't go wrong with getting it for $8.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Been doing mostly the singleplayer campaign and a little multiplayer on the side. In short, the singleplayer is probably one of the most fun I've been through with an FPS. While the story/locations/enemies seem cliche now, it's the way that it just throws you into all this action and doesn't stop or really slow down(even the slower parts are fun), plus how challenging the AI is and the fact that combat relies on just as much cover and formation tactics as it does firepower really keeps you on your toes.

Multiplayer's pretty fun too, and I can see why this game got so popular. Not sure if I'll play through any of the ones that came after this, but man is this fun.

Also, been playing Mark of The Ninja

Probably one of the best stealth games out there. You'd think that a genre like stealth wouldn't work with a 2D platformer, but the way the controls are laid out and feel as well as the design decisions in terms of showing enemies' cones of view and visually representing sound within the game are remarkable and pretty ingenious.

Some people might think that this dumbs down stealth gaming, but if anything it's alot more accessible and revitalizes a genre that doesn't always get the respect it deserves.

and been powering through Red Dead Redemption

It's almost unbelievably good. If you haven't checked it out yet then I highly suggest you do, it's probably one of the biggest gaming landmarks of this last generation.

This 1080P 60fps goodness dropped through my letter box this morning. It's receiving rave reviews and is hailed by many as best next gen game of 2013:

Not played it yet. But am gonna drop some shrooms later and load it up. A new Mario game is always reason to trip. :D

x2 one of the best games ever released and the graphics and feel of the game when it came out were amazing and it perfectly encompassed all the aspects of both the 'American Western' and 'Spaghetti Western' I'm a cowboy film nut on the quiet, so I know what I'm talking about;)

Also the geography of the game was pretty amazing in how it encapsulated the colder northern western states and the arid and hot southern and Mexican states.

Path of Exile

The best free-to-play game after Dota 2. It's an isometric action role playing game with the look and feel of Diablo II. It's technically an MMO, however you can turn off the in-game chat and will only ever see other players in game hub areas. While it's F2P, it's not pay-to-win, and any microtransactions are all cosmetic based and won't affect your stats in any way. Definitely worth a look if you were disappointed with Diablo III and have played your way through Torchlight II.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

I don't mind paying $3.74 to find out I still suck at CS. It's probably been close to a decade since I stopped playing this game but I still know the classic maps better than I know my home town.

I played this for a little while and really enjoyed it. Definitely worth a try for anyone looking for a fun game to pass time.

Amnesia - A Machine For Pigs

I swear, this Autumn sale is going to kill my wallet, but 35% off for this one is a pretty good deal. I've been hearing mixed reviews, but it's a game that i've wanted and will probably really enjoy. I know you've played this one, Pete. I'll be sure to keep in mind that I should just play it as it's own game, as I know it's more for the story. I'm excited regardless.
