I really don't get the Resident Evil 6 hate. They had so much fan service in it.

I seriously cannot stop getting games from Steam sales. Another one I just grabbed:
I've only played it for a few minutes, but the graphics are phenomenal in this game. The gameplay is pretty straight forward, and it seems very puzzle based. However, it's also an FPS. I did the story for a little bit but I may try the survival mode next as I am always a big fan of those game modes. Definitely worth the freaking $2 I spent on it. |

Since I'm currently broke, instead of buying bf4 I came back to bf3... and must say, I'm enjoying every minute of it. Maybe it's because most of the "tards" moved on to the next one, maybe I'm just that good ?(no, I'm not ).
As for the Witcher 2 - I completed it 3 times, it's easily one of the best pc RPG games ever. You don't really need to play through the 1st part, especially since I've found it to be tedious enough I haven't completed it... despite having a collectors edition and having read the books several times... Combat sucks, the game has many technical flaws that make it frustrating. Witcher 2 is a completely different game, better in every way |

I imagine the three pairs of jeans for $10 thing is from him working in a thrift store. Although the Goodwill where I went to the other day said that employees weren't allowed to buy from there out of "fairness" to other customers so maybe he just goes to thrift stores in general.

I've always been obsessed with the Resident Evil games but I can see why gamers now give them a lot of hate. I bought RES 6 about a year ago, but then based on all the bad reviews I kind of forgot about playing it. Now playing and sure it's no more than a glossy shoot-em-up, but it looks good and plays well. I know the next instalment is meant to finally go back to the classic survival horror style on old and is based on atmosphere, instead of the action horror style the games became on RES 4, admittedly RES 4 was a classic!

Leon's part paid homage to RE 2 and had more of the atomsphere. Jake's campaign was similar to 3 and had the Nemesis vibe. Chris was the only one that was just really straight up action shoot em up and there were tiny bits that reminded me of RE 1 but not by much.

Looking at your homage and based on what I've seen I'd agree with that as Leon easily had the atmosphere of the early games. Jake the Nemesis vibe and Chris probably the most shoot-em-up orientated. Have you played Revelations as I know this fills in the missing areas between 4 and 5? Out of interest what are your fav Resident Evil games?
