For what it's worth, it being free and having the type of graphics it does, I'd say thats more enjoyable than anything. I was expecting it to be extremely cartoony and lame, but it's actually a lot of fun and the combat is really well done. I played it for a bit yesterday and I may play more tonight. It's a fun time killer, and it doesn't really feel repetitive with the missions.

Pokemon Ash Gray

This has got to be one of the funnest hacks of Fire Red that I have played. It follows the story of Ash in the anime but in game form. It does a really good job at it too, what with Pikachu not liking Ash at the start, and stealing the bike from Misty to rush to the Pokemon Center. Very cool way of hacking a game, and it's a lot of fun and well worth your time.

Alright so I just got this after hearing all this positive stuff about it and so far, 2 hours in, I'm not feelin it. At all. Matter of fact, I feel a bit ripped off. It was only 15$ on steam but still. Hoping it gets better, will get back to y'all on it. It's a re-release of an alleged classic from Japan so it HAS to get better.

I don't think i'd really much like it just by the screenshots that I found for it.

The boss fights look REALLY cool and that's what attracted me to it in the first place. I love good boss fights. But in between the boss fights, so far, it seems like it's just a bunch of running around. Props to the level design and art direction though, pretty neat stuff visually.

These two games were on sale as a bundle on Steam for 8$. I couldn't not get it. I've wanted a GTA game for a long time, and I have heard pretty good things about this one, especially since I want a good graphics one, and GTA V isn't out for PC yet. Very excited about this. Perfect timing too since i'll be on my weekend after work tomorrow. Now to wait for it to download through Steam.

You just got a new gaming PC right? If so welcome to the hell that is Games for Windows Live on top of RockStar Club.

Episodes from Liberty City is a blast, especially The Ballad of Gay Tony. It has a much funkier and funner vibe than GTA IV and is the better game for it. Has a great soundtrack too. Lots of dance, disco and motown.

I've had my PC for almost a year now I think, maybe more. I'm no stranger to Games for Windows Live, so I know of the annoyance. This PC runs all my favorite games pretty well, so i'm pretty satisfied and willing to get more games that I have always wanted to play.

The GTA games from what I can tell are always top notch when it comes to the soundtracks. I've also seen videos of The Ballad of Gay Tony and it may be one of the first that I do.

Fair enough, I mean I'm with you too, the PC is my preferred platform, but I do have to say that GFWL for Grand Theft Auto IV pissed me off.

Anyways here's what I'm playing right now.

It's a mod that really upgrades the original DOOM but in ways that don't betray what it was originally like. It still looks, sounds, and feels like DOOM, but it's adding in mouse aiming, the ability to crouch and jump, and some little texture and particle effects that help modernize the game and almost make it feel like something completely new. It's probably been close to 15 years since I've played DOOM I & II, but with this mod it really does feel like I'm playing a new game.

If you missed out on the game back in the day when it came out and want to get a feeling of what it was like, but without having to put up with the design limitations of the day then I would highly recommend this mod. DOOM was the very first video game I ever played, so you might think this is just nostalgia talking, but no, this really does revitalize the game and show that it can still be just as fun today as it was 20 years ago which makes me very happy.
