hey screw you. Pikachu is in my party but mostly because he's in the early areas and I haven't found an alternative electric pokemon yet but Raichu is bad ass looking.

**** Pikachu. Takes forever to level up and has ****ty stats. Jolteon is the best electric Pokemon (I'm talking about the first game) and nothing you can say can convince me otherwise.

I could never get behind Snorlax. Too slow for me, and I don't like the idea of having to fall asleep to use some of his moves. I prefer a one-hit blitzkrieg that leaves my opponent feeling inadequate. The one odd-man-out I have is Scyther. Cause he's ****ing Scyther.

No. Grass is. Unless you are a lazy leveler who actually has to use more than a few hits to win a battle then they are useless. When you're ten levels higher than your opponent does it really help that much to paralyze them? And not only do their attacks suck but most of them don't even have the semi-good ones. Even Bulba/Ivy/Venusaur is ****ing mediocre.

Sunlight is overrated. It does 120 damage in two turns. It might as well just be a one-turn 60 damage attack. It's not even as good as that because you have to wait till the second turn for it to do anything. And look at its stats. They are easily the worst out of all three starting Pokemon. I know that's not necessarily the biggest concern for everyone, but I've sort of got to the point where I have to do everything to the max. I'll actually spend days going through the same area searching for the same Pokemon with the stats that I want, discarding countless others of the same species just because they don't measure up to my standards. I even keep a notebook handy so that I can keep track of the stats of that particular Pokemon just so I'll know what the highest stats are for each attribute. It's actually gotten to the point where it's almost impossible to finish a game before I lose interest and move onto something else. Same thing with Fire Emblem too.
