A Sonic game with 3D graphics but a 2D perspective, why can't they just do one on home consoles?
I don't get it, a crappy licensed game or FPS that will take you 30 minutes to beat and you'll never play again yet it's worth 50 bucks, but a great 2D platformer that can keep you playing forever isn't? C'mon, Nintendo just released Wario Land 5 on THE WII, and it's not even a wiiware game, and the upcoming Kirby game for the Wii is gonna be 2D too. Nintendo haven't forgotten their roots, nor have Capcom. Sega need to take note, because the only way they're gonna get out of this rut is if they go back to their roots. 2D games need to make a comeback to home consoles. They're not losing popularity or anything, look at the virtual console games, they're selling better than the actual Wii games. |
