This game is one big WTF from the first 5 minutes of playing it. I can't really explain how; it's just something you need to see/play to believe. But yeah, this is also weird in that it's a combination of a unique sort of on-rails shooting system and puzzle solving, but once you get used to the odd control scheme it's pretty good.

I'd taken a long hiatus from Skyrim but after seeing all of the cool mods that have been created in my absence, I think I'm resuming my addiction!

I've beat World more times than I care to count. 64, too. Both are AMAZING games..prolly in my top 5 of all time

And i'm not using the whistles for my first run through of 3. I'm on World 7, which has parts that are mind-numbingly frustrating

Wow man you are a beast! haha, I've gotten to like World 5 then just give up. It's also a problem whereas my cartridge doesn't keep saves so if I'm gonna finish it's gotta be in one sitting.

Yeah I was never crazy about SMB2, it's fun in small doses.

Hell yes, SMB World is probably my all time favorite game. I used to just start files every morning before school when I was younger and see how far I could get haha. I've only finished it all the way through once though. It definitely felt like an accomplishment haha.

I would do the same thing, except not before school. I'd just start a file in the morning, trying to see if I could get all 96 exits in under, say..5 or 6 hours

Mario Bros 3 is TOUGH. My All Stars cartidge luckily (despite being beat up a bit) hasn't had any issues with saves. But I can only do like a world or so in one sitting..after that i'm done. Plus, best finish on an accomplished note :D

I will say, though, starting with world 6, i've been going back to world 1, and stocking up on lives and items like crazy

I'm amazed how well Sons of Liberty holds up even today... a LOT of work went into that game. I'm currently trying to make my way through it on European Extreme. It's tough. Peace Walker is addictive but I'm not sure I liked the anime/comic style cutscenes. Unlike a lot of people, I love Hideo's long-windedness.

I'm really looking forward to playing Snake Eater again, out of interest which is your favourite MGS game?

Nabbed it off Xbox Live for free when it was being offered, I've never played a Fable game before. It's ok... more linear than I expected and the making friends/lovers bit is just kind of annoying. A fun game but not something I see being very memorable.

I played one and it might have been that one and found it linear and quite boring overall.

It starts off real slow and right now I'd give it a 5-6/10, but free is free

Fuck that, your time is valuable (or it should be).

Whaaat that's bad ass haha, the farthest I ever got in those speed runs was World 3 I believe, the cave area if I remember correctly. Donut caves maybe? It's been too long haha

Oh man I know, SMB 3 is brutal. My friend and I made it legitly all the way to World 8 one day, but we got so frustrated we just had to turn it off. Too much lava haha. I really don't like the moving levels man they suck, you know when the level is constantly moving to the one side, so you get rushed to finish and end up making easy mistakes cuase of the pressure. I remember one of those in particular in World 8 that was a real pain.

The save issue has been a prob for awhile, I know the cartridge is supremely fudged up but it may also have something to do with my SNES too, since I've had it since I was like 5 (I'm 23) its definitely seen better days haha

These games are so ageless, I'll be playing em forever, they just never get old! :3
