I'm playing Minecraft on my computer (Addicted to it) and Far Cry 3 on my console but I keep switching back to Forza Horizon for the design aspect.

I tried Minecraft a while back, it was boring and had terrible graphics.

Notch (the original maker) purposely went for that pixelated, low quality graphics look, so putting the game down for bad graphics seems to me a bit like missing the point.

I think despite that, the game often looks quite beautiful too, for example when you're looking at a green valley as the sun comes up.

The graphics are probably the first, or one of the first things people look at when they play a game for the first time. And with such poor graphics that Minecraft has, it sure deters a lot of people from playing it.

And Im not sure what point you think I might be missing, so feel free to explain further what's that point you're referring to.

That the game is about gameplay way before graphics and that the low quality style is intentional and, for many, part of the appeal. It helps make Minecraft more unique.

Exactly. I love Minecraft for the immense amount of things you can do. I have never once taken into account the type of graphics it has. Plus, you can get texture packs and mods, which make the game really fun.

I'm sure that's like 10 people...

FIFA 13

Best sports game I have ever played hands down. I learn as much playing this as when I watch actual football matches, it's realistic without being impossible. The 11 vs. 11 online matches is my new favorite multiplayer, it's so much ****ing fun, especially when you have teammates from all over the world, first time being cursed at in Deutsch.

So I just started a Wood Elf assassin character in Skyrim that specializes in the Illusion school of magic, archery, and alchemy. So far it's been pretty good, but I do find that if I don't have a calm spell out while I'm wandering the wilds I tend to get killed by saber cats and bears. My build also makes it incredibly hard to fight dragons, although I did manage to take one down all by myself in the marshes outside of Solitude so that was kind of cool. I'm looking forward to getting the Nightingale armor so I can save on magicka when casting my illusion spells. Also does anybody have any tips for quickly leveling up your alchemy skill?

I would just loot entire villages, would be leveling sneak and alchemy, and with all the ingredients just make as much as you can, I'm sure someone has a guide out there as to how much XP a certain recipe gives you.

I've read a few, but there doesn't seem to be much else I can do except have the well rested perk and the one you get for banging your spouse. I collect ingredients like crazy and make potions every chance I get, but it just doesn't seem to rise in any kind of proportion to the amount of work I put into that skill.
