The nineties called. They want their obsolete video game genre back. Kidding, but I do remember a friend of mine going on about how awesome that game was. And just watching him play it back then before graphics were what they are today was pretty epic in and of itself.

I remember staying up all night one night beating that game back in the summer of 96.

Thanks to Steam being so goshdarn cheap and sale-happy I got Mark of the Ninja and The Binding of Isaac. The first is a fairly short but overall very enjoyable stealth-em-up (probably my favourite genre when done right) and the second is just... every PC gamer should have The Binding of Isaac in their library at all times.

Once you start to get into the multitude of Minecraft mods often collectively referred to as bukkit, then you can really kiss your life goodbye. With added plugins, there's just an endless amount of things to do in that game.

Anyone ever play the games from the Splinter Cel series? I think they're terrific. I'm currently playing Splinter Cell- Conviction, very fun.
