Got into the CS:GO beta. w00t.
Just played the gun game and it was a blast. All of the weapons feel good and there are even some new ones. They deliberately made most models look way different than their old versions, which confused me for a few minutes. I like the movement a lot more than Source (no glitchy jumping or clipping so far for me). I assume the beta will run up until the release, so it's pretty sweet to be me.

Sonic Generations looks good for that old school style but if you actually want old games you can also try finding a copy of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection - you get like 40 games on a single disc. If you haven't checked out the Playstation Store through your system yet I strongly suggest taking a look. There are more than a few games they only sell online that have that old school feel with modern presentation. Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light is another really good one. |
