Got into the CS:GO beta. w00t.
Just played the gun game and it was a blast. All of the weapons feel good and there are even some new ones. They deliberately made most models look way different than their old versions, which confused me for a few minutes. I like the movement a lot more than Source (no glitchy jumping or clipping so far for me). I assume the beta will run up until the release, so it's pretty sweet to be me. |

Sonic Generations looks good for that old school style but if you actually want old games you can also try finding a copy of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection - you get like 40 games on a single disc. If you haven't checked out the Playstation Store through your system yet I strongly suggest taking a look. There are more than a few games they only sell online that have that old school feel with modern presentation. Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light is another really good one. |
