What are gems for then? There are a ton of reasons to not like it, but I don't understand that complaint.

I started with a WD and it was so hard I basically stopped playing for a few weeks. I recently made a Barb and have been having a lot of fun with it (I've made my money back through the RMAH, which doesn't hurt either).

Regardless, here's my "unfinished games" list right now. I start games without finishing them all the time, so I've resolved to try and clear the decks, and probably save myself a lot of cash in the process.

Games to finish:

PSX
Chrono Cross
Final Fantasy 9

PS2
Breath Of Fire Dragon Quest
Dragon Quest - Journey Of The Cursed King
Final Fantasy VII: Dirge Of Cerberus
Final Fantasy X-2
Kingdom Hearts
Kingdom Hearts 2
Oni
Prince Of Persia - Sands of Time
Rogue Galaxy

GBA
Sword Of Mana

PC
Alice - Madness Returns
Chantelise
Sam & Max 101 - Culture Shock
Sam & Max 102 - Situation: Comedy
Sam & Max 103 - The Mole, The Mob and the Meatball
Sam & Max 104 - Abe Lincoln Must Die!
The Longest Journey
Naev

DS
Golden Sun - Dark Dawn

Gamecube
Skies Of Arcadia

It helps you keep tabs on what games you've played, which ones you've finished and so on.

Strange that you would find it hard. It's been a breeze on my WD so far at level 20-something. Either you're complaining about stages in the game I've yet to reach or you've perhaps done something wrong? Do you hold shift while ranged attacking to prevent your char from accidentally running into mobs?

There are a lot of things glaringly absent from Diablo 3 that obviously are intended for an impending expansion (jewels/other socketables come to mind), which on one hand is annoying, but still gives me hope.
Yea that's a good point to have kept in mind. Diablo 2 wouldn't have faired as much without the expansion, same for many other Blizzard releases. Great, hope is still there then. 👍

I'm talking about Inferno Act 3 and later (I haven't played my WD since they nerfed 2-4 recently, but it wasn't a huge decrease in difficulty). Every class rolls until Inferno.

WD is just awful end-game.

Trine

Downloaded a demo last night and really enjoyed it. The puzzles are cleverly designed and there's combat to help break it up. I figure it's worth the $10

I should really try that. My current backlog is:

Fallout: New Vegas
Assassins Creed
Assassins Creed 2
Assassins Creed: Brotherhood
Half-Life
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2: Episode 2 / Episode 3
The Witcher
The Witcher 2
The Secret of Monkey Island 2: Special Edition
Braid
Limbo
Lone Survivor
Mirror's Edge

Also: Penumbra/Amnesia, which I got in the Humble Indie Bundle, but am far to terrified to install at this point .

The good news is that there's not much coming out for in the next little bit that interests me, so i'll have some time to finish (some of) these up. The bad news is that the Steam Summer Sale should be happening soon, and i'll probably be adding some/a lot of games to this list. That being said, a few of them shouldn't be too long, and I might just give up on Half-Life all together. I'm on the "On A Rail" chapter, and its just not clicking. And looking at gamefaqs, i'm less than half way through the game. Not sure if I should continue with it at this point.

So what's you guys favorite 3D mario game? The reason I ask is I'm currently replaying Mario Sunshine. I probably love Mario Galaxy 2 the most though.

Nice list of games I've completed most of those and they're all great.

I've been wanting to play through Half-Life again, but thought I'd wait until the source engine remake was done, but .. that project seems to take forever.

It's a race to see if Black Mesa will beat Half-Life 2: Episode 3 to release.

I'm hoping it'll get released, but Black mesa is starting to smell a bit like vaporware to me. My impression is that development has just about lost all momentum. I haven't been keeping an eye on the forums, though.
