Lies.

CoD2 (my favorite in the series)
Condemned: Criminal Origins
Gun
Need For Speed: Most Wanted
King Kong

Five good games available at launch on 360.

you have interesting taste in games. I never see you mention playing anything but old school 16 bit stuff and occasional playstation game and then you mention playing killer 7.

COD 2 and Condemned were decent, but you're reaching with the rest; they were nothing special. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was another game that comes to mind that came out in the early 360 games, it got great reviews and yet was spectacularly average. Very disappointing.

Xbox launch was better.

To be fair, it's all opinion.

But Most Wanted is one of the best Need for Speed games.
King Kong, while really dated today, was great back when the system launched.
Condemned and CoD2 were terrific.
I honestly haven't played the 360 version of Gun, though.

Also, I loved Advanced Warfighter.

Manhunt (2003)

One of the PS2 games I picked up last month and haven't played since 2003 or 2004. If any game is in dire need of some current generation touch-up, this one would be it. I don't mean high definition graphics, I just mean some really tight controls that you find in most 3rd-person games nowadays. Actually the only thing that would really need to be changed would be remapping the right analog stick so it rotates the camera and not make you go into a first-person perspective. Overall I'll play it for a few more hours and probably get bored like when I was 14 and playing it for the first time.

Persona 3 PES is better, in my opinion, the story was tighter and the dungeon-crawling not as tedious

too many juvenile elements in Persona 4 as well - all the cutesy cartoon characters

Is anyone else getting a bit ticked off by all the nickel and diming going on in the video games industry these days?

I was about to purchase Mass Effect 2 used off Amazon, but apparently I'll miss out on ****ing single player content if I buy it used. Can someone clarify what this means if anyone here knows?

From my understanding it just means there are certain parts of the game that won't be available to you. I'm not sure if you're given the option to buy that content during the game, or if it's locked off for you completely. I know in Batman: Arkham City (2011) you wouldn't be able to play as Catwoman if you bought used. It's just another DRM used by knee-jerk publishers who feel the best way to combat piracy and used-game sales is to punish the people who bought the game legally. If you're question was what content you miss out if you buy used, sadly I cannot answer.

I support online passes, because I understand why they're used. I buy all of my games new anyway.

Anyways, you miss out on the Cerberus Network. It gives you a new character named Zaeed (He's pretty lame), a couple weapons, and a couple of non-story-centric missions.
