i haven't played PD0, so no comparison

in Killer 7, you're moving along corridors, then it shifts perspectives, and you have to press another direction to move forwards

Killer 7?

I remember Electronic Gaming Monthly panned it so I never bothered to check it out, even though the artistic style looked damn cool. Worth checking out still?

It's completely unlike anything you've ever played and I cannot guarantee you'll understand whats going on after the first, second, or even fifth play through. It's so utterly devoid of any conventional video game logic that it just falls right off the spectrum of games to compare it to, landing it on a plane of existence inhabited only by itself and perhaps the No More Hereos games.

From a gameplay perspective, don't expect it to be too thrilling or engaging, this is a game played for the uniqueness of the concept rather than challenge.

I'm cool with the sound of that. PD0's flaw was that it gave me motion sickness after about 30 min of playtime. It wasn't very good either.

PD0 was so amazingly awful. It's review scores were a total conspiracy. I can't remember being more disappointed in a game.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up. This weekends deal on Good Old Games is pretty amazing. All Interplay games there are 50% off, f.eks Fallout 1 and 2, the Descent games, the Freespace games and more.

GOG.com

The whole 360 launch sucked ass. It took until Oblivion for a decent game.

Of the lesser known games from that offer package, I'm very fond of Giants: Citizen Kabuto which is just a blast. It's an action game where you play three different characters at different stages of a story. The most fun (imo) is playing these space marine types with backpacks. You zoom around these huge maps with your jetpack and blaster and blow up the wildlife. There's even these tactical stages where you make buildings and war against an opposing side and so on ..

And it's also hilarious. Great game!

I already bought it on gog a long time ago though :)

IT was pretty bad. I think my favorite games were CoD(1 or 2) and Project Gotham 2.

you have interesting taste in games. I never see you mention playing anything but old school 16 bit stuff and occasional playstation game and then you mention playing killer 7.

SPOILERS

I thought the main plot twist (that all the playable characters were people you killed) was clear even if most of the story wasn't. Agree with everything else you said. I wish more modern FPS would play around with conventions like killer7 did.
