just beat it

amazing game, but maaaaaan was the combat frustrating, especially on mouse and keyboard. I was slamming on my desk by by one of last parts where I had to dodge all those snipers. @_@

kinda makes me wanna replay it on easy mode, cause there's very little combat there.

I just played the demo on the 360. It was super fun. Only problem seemed to be 90% of your controls are the same button. Even so its a great game and I would love to hear the in game music since the demo didnt really have any.

the in game music is really great imo, sort of an ambient electronic kind of thing, the song at the end I loved as well. But yeah, there's more sophisticated controls that you learn to utilize later on, especially with combat, so that helps to change things up a bit.

really though, it's an enthusiastic recommendation from me

Still absolutely adore the series, and I'm pretty excited for the reboot.
DMC2 is my least favorite, though. The environments aren't as interesting, and some of the enemies (Infected Tanks and Infected Helicopters?) seem pretty uninspired. Still a lot of fun to play, though.
Yeah to be honest, I found Dark Souls to be a cakewalk compared to Devil May Cry 3, not sure if it was cause I got better at video games in the meantime or if it's truly harder. I do know they made it significantly easier in the later edition because so many people complained about it, so that should tell you something.

This is what I think about the Japanese 'hard' mode being made 'normal' for the US.

Zombie Gunship

Fun little free game for the Android and iOS. Basically it takes that "Death From Above" mission from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007) and lets you shoot zombies instead of Russians. You fight off wave of the undead while trying to protect civilians for long enough to earn you more money to spend on upgrading your weapons and defenses and then you do it again. It's stupidly addicting.

I just bought the special editions of Monkey Island and Broken Sword, all remastered for the PC and looking forward to playing these games over the next several weeks errrr several months. Have only played one Monkey Island game before and only one Broken Sword, but looking forward to these. I think these editions include the first two Monkey Island games and all four Broken Sword games.

Just picked up the new game Legend of Grimrock on Steam. It's an old-school Dungeon Crawler, a bit like Eye of the Beholder, Stonekeep or Lands of Lore. I used to love those games back in the days so I was pretty excited when I learned someone was making a new one.

I haven't gotten too far into it yet, but it's already a lot of fun. Combat is generally simple and intuitive and the puzzles are fun

I absolutely adored that game, but I fall head over heels for anything Suda 51 makes.

This game is ****ing gorgeous. One of the best looking ones I've ever played.
