At full price no, but at a reduced price yes. Despite being linear in that you have to do the missions (cases) in order, it captures the feel of a film noir film of the 1940s perfectly. Also the police investigations are fun.

I played this for hours yesterday, but mostly because I had to figure out how to play the damn thing. Still not too bad, and it's free! but yeah, definitely an old school RPG. Like...every letter of the keyboard is a different action type of old. Like...when ever you press "LEFT", it says "WEST" every time.
