Eh. I guess it depends. I'm watching my roommate play through for his first time, and he picked a stealth/archery build, which seems to be a pretty popular one. Looks really fun, but he has a lot of trouble fighting dragons and big groups of enemies. I'm a two-handed bash-the-****-outta-you guy, so nothing was ever particularly hard for me in Skyrim, especially once I grinded Smithing and Enchanting up to 100.

Smithing and enchanting at max is certainly powerful and a bit of a game changer as it makes just about all the loot you'll get suckier than what you can craft yourself. As such, it removes some of the pleasure from the game, I think.

I never finished Earthbound actually. I like the game a lot, but the fights eventually became quite tedious I think. I felt that way when I played FFVI f.ex as well, but somehow I managed to push through and finish that one.

Recently finished Uncharted 3. Have to say I was rather underwhelmed.
In my opinion, it doesn't hold a candle to the second instalment. The story telling is rather poor in comparison, and it tries to hard to fit in as many returning Uncharted features as possible, except with the multi-player, which has been transformed into COD in third person. A terrible decision, as it will never take away any of the market from Call Of Duty, so why try and emulate something you will never be able to replicate the success of? |
