I was going to buy Oblivion the other day but felt I could get it cheaper.

Yeah that part's a bitch. Sweet dungeon once you get on though.
I just beat the game. It is and isn't my favourite Zelda. The exploration/sidequests are definitely the worst for any Zelda I've played. I just don't understand why they'd make the Sky World so barren. The revisiting of the same places over and over again had its positives and negatives, but having to go through the same dungeon twice was pretty ridiculous. It did however have the best main quest/dungeons/bosses along with in general just being the most fun to play. I think OoT still holds the title, although alot of that is due to nostalgia. |

It almost seems like it should be made for DS if you replace motion with touch screen controls, it reminds me a lot of the lack-of-depth that phantom hourglass has. Without spoiling anything, can i expect a fulfilling storyline? I'm kinda a zelda historian (**** my life) and the premise that this was a prequel to the series got me very excited. Im hoping to see like the origin of ganandorf and the zoras and whatnot, seeing as how wind waker (which was also a prequel) the zora were still birds and had yet to evolve into the amphibians they were in the following games. |

It's also a bit rough at the moment, but all mmorpgs are just after launch. Combat in particular seems to need a little tweaking, but it is a lot of fun as it is just the same.

I've been playing the **** out of Skyrim every time I go to my mom's house. It's an absolutely perfect game, and even though it's glitchy as ****, many of the flaws add to the perfection. This is what a game should be.

I wouldn't say it's perfect, but it's certainly kept me very satisfied. I think for the firs time in a Beth-style RPG I'm enjoying combat. Before they were all about the narrative and the freedom, but now murdering Bandit clans with fireballs and Atronachs feels so satisfying.
@Vanilla In case my post didn't make it clear enough OMGZ MORROWIND BEST GAME EVER PLAY IT TILL YOU GET INTO IT I've been playing Shogun 2 tonight, and I intend to play it over Skyrim a bit more than I do now. I've reached the point where I'm understanding the basic tactics, how the campaign works, the units and their roles, and I'm loving it. With a bit more play I'd imagine this will be better than Rome was, and Rome was a damn good game. The soundtrack's as stunning as ever, by the way.
