Frostbite 2.0 you say? Have they finally lived up to the promise they made with the orginal Bad Company and actually made things destructible?

Well, regardless of the advertisement of destructibility, DICE isn't going to make absolutely everything destructible. There has to be a balance between destruction and retaining the flow of a map.

If everything was completely destructible, an entire map would be leveled quite quickly, and we'd just be playing in piles of rubble. While being able to destroy everything would certainly be fun, it wouldn't do much for actual gameplay.

With that said, the destructibility is varied. Some buildings will come down completely, while others that are integral to map design will remain largely intact, with their facades being destructible to reduce cover. Other things like immobile cars and such will explode. Brick wall cover can be chipped away or destroyed with explosives, etc.

Frostbite 2 isn't just about destruction, though. It's about the entire game engine, which is completely rebuilt.

It looks like I`ll end up playing both games, anyway I seem to remember playing a game similiar to Battlefield several years ago now and it may have been an earlier Battlefield game or something similiar but I can`t remember the name of it. It basically had you as part of team and gave you the option of controlling your teammates as well in a number of different strategic moves.

Probably Ghost Recon or Socom

Did someone find their old video game systems underneath their box of vintage playboys?

I've been playing Rage, apparently one of the best looking game if you install the whole 3 GB of game on your hard drive. It feels and plays like a beefed up version of Borderlands, pretty cool game.

Be prepared for the extremely abysmal ending.
I loved everything about the game, except the ending.
