Arkham Asylum was incredible.
I have high hopes for the new game, but having just bought New Vegas & the original Bioshock, I won't be playing it until this time next year haha!

Battlefield 3 looks 10 times sweeter for the PC though. From what I've heard, the developers have been complaining about how consoles stall technological progress in games. So, instead of developing for the limited capacity consoles, they developed Battlefield 3 for the more powerful PC, then made "stripped down" versions for the consoles.

The Bill Cosby Flash Game

Maybe the most surreal thing you'll ever play. Here is the game synopsis:

"It's the aftermath of the Bill Cosby rape trial, and Cosby's been left penniless and homeless. The gravy train has ended, and in Bill Cosby's drunken rage the only escape out of town is to murder and steal! Help Bill Cosby lure victims and bring them back to the Cosby Cave. If Bill Cosby can avoid the cops and save enough money, he might just get to make the most important phone call of his life."

Well, that's what they claim anyway. So far the beta has been kind of a bust since I've only been able to play Metro, which feels terribly COD-like in both scale and game flow. Still fun, just not really... Battlefield

Also, it's worrisome to me that the game is less than a month from release, and is probably going gold this week or next, and yet the beta is so riddled with bugs and issues.

Of course it's going to look better for PC.

A lot of people don't realize, though, the 360 and PS3 are running on at least a month old beta, which was compressed for easier download from about 4 gig to 1.3 gig (at least, that's what I was told).

I'd like to see how many units Battlefield 3 would sell WITHOUT consoles. Considering that's probably 90% of the video game market these days, I don't understand why they'd be complaining/half-assing the port.

I don't think they'll be half-assing the port. It will just generally be an inferior product compared to the PC version because of the technological limitations of the consoles. It'll still be a brilliant XBOX 360/PS3 game I'm sure.

^ that's true. It's just having five year old+ hardware is hard to work with after making a game for PC.

In the morning I'm picking up Rage and Dark Souls.

So excited.
