I just took all the health and weapons away from her and gave her the stun rod, which has infinite ammo. Managed to beat it on Professional that way.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution at the moment pour moi.

What do you think of it? As I`m thinking of getting it. Also is it just a shoot-em-up or is there an adventure game element to it?

Breezing through Round 2 of Dead Space 2.

Question: If I was to borrow one of the following game's from my pal, which should it be;

-Red Dead Redemption
-Assassin's Creed: Revelations
-Resident Evil 5

I don`t like any of the Assassins Creed games but Red Dead Redemption an absolute classic and being a fan of westerns I think the game captures the feel of westerns in general and its a must play......only problem is that like the GTA games they`re long so don`t know how long you`d get to keep the game for. I`m a lifelong fan of Resident Evil games and again RE5 is a must play and again I love how the game is set in Africa. Also its a much shorter game than Red Dead Redemption.

Thats what computer controlled partners are for, they`re great for storing all your secondary weapons and extra ammo and also keep you company in the game.

Finally got to start Deus Ex Human Revolution. Holy ****, it's amazing.

Thanks guys. I'll follow your advice and get RDR, always fancied giving it a bash.
Should I milk it, and 'borrow' Red Dead Nightmare too?

My mistake Pete, yeah I meant Brotherhood, I've played the first two, and although they are repetitive, I have enjoyed them.
Been a while since I played ACII though, so I've lost the thread of the plot somewhat.

I think it's absolutely fantastic, it's much more than just a shoot-em-up, it's very varied and there is allot of scope for tackling various misisons and objectives in different ways, it's not as open ended as I was led to believe, but nowhere near as restrictive as most games. I've been taking a stealthy approach to most sitations, using silenced hangun and a scoped tranq rifle.
And my brother has taken a a different approach and is basically carrying around as many guns as he can, and blowing the s**t out of anyone that opposses him.
The game seems to reward you equally for whatever playstyle you choose, so theres no advantages to doing things any particular way as oppossed to another.
It's also quite challenging, but in a constructive way, as opposed to a frustrating way.

I've played around 6 or so hours and I'm progressing nicely, I do feel like theres allot of depth to the story, the world feels very well constructed and your constantly dripfed information about it, it's inhabitants, politics and this and that through emails and ebooks that are scattered around. Which all help to build this sense of depth. You can just ignore all that if thats not your cup of tea as well.

So yeah, basically in a nutshell, it's awesome!

lol I play like your brother, I usually try the stealthy approach in games and then it usually ends up back firing so I'm like w/e fuck it all and just murder as many people as I can.

I'm playing Shattered Dimensions at the moment.

It's by far the best spiderman game but I just really really dislike spiderman games overall.

Cheers for the description and from the way you`ve described it, it sounds like the type of shoot-em up I love especially as the story has depth. As for quality shoot-em ups Gears of War 3 and the new Call of Duty are out soon, so this game may keep me entertained.

I downloaded Fallout New Vegas for the PC. I've played it 100000 times on Xbox before, but mods and the DLC I've legally acquired give it another edge. I die from dehydration in about a day, the nights are si dark that I literally can't see anything without any light source nearby, I run the risk of being instantly killed by headshots, bottlecaps have weight and food and drink doesn't heal me any more. I never thought I'd be saying it, but the game is actually difficult now, and I love it.
