One of the best least accessible serieses of a all time. Just started on this one (started it awhile back but then put it down for months, and I'm picking it up again).

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
Al Pacino = God

Sounds a lot better actually. I remember both times I played Oblivion, neither of my characters ever really dominated, ie, I would die constantly no matter how much I leveled up.

The first time I played it, DLC and all, I totaled about 140 hours. I remember I started in August and finished in November, and I'd play it for hours every day. There's just so much to do, it's crazy. Some days I would just run around the world and climb mountains, not even doing anything, and still had more fun than any other game I've played.

Also, the post three posts above me inspired me to go out and buy Advance Wars Dual Strike again on a whim. my favorite game on the DS, hands down.

I don't see why a lot of people need trophies and achievements as incentives to replay games today. They're a cheap way to replay value, I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to run around collecting hidden items for hours just to get a little "bloop" and some useless/meaningless numbers added to my total gamerscore. I think real replay value is something like New Super Mario Bros. Wii where you have to collect the coins to unlock more stages to play in. Or maybe something like Resident Evil where if you can get under a certain time/beat it on a certain difficulty, you get a weapon. You guys agree or disagree?

Also, is it just me that still enjoys playing old games on emulators and such? Some people are really turned off by the graphics but a good game is a good game, y'know?

Currently playing Sonic and the Secret Rings, Fallout 3, and Silent Hill Shattered Memories.

Achievements have never motivated me to play more, but I can see why some people are attracted to them.

Achievements and Trophies are like a checklist for people that like to accomplish everything that they game has to offer. Some people are just completest like that.

I just play the game once through and if I happen to get a trophy along the way then I get one but I don't go out of my way to earn them.

Collecting hidden items has been around for ages sometimes with rewards and sometimes without. Nowadays they decided to give people at least something for their efforts.

I personally don't toy with emulators anymore but it's not because I feel like 16 bit games are unable because of the graphics. I have friends that are ALL about the graphics and won't touch any retro games or systems because they feel it looks like shit. They are way too spoiled. They don't know that graphics aren't what makes a good game.
