What made SA better for ya?

For me:
the lack of realism (no sluggish, realistic physics)
cars were actually fun to drive
the map was awesomely big and had varied topography
better story and setting
less pretentious
planes, atv's, dirt bikes, etc.
nostalgia

I agree with this but some people just love realism in their video games.

Case in point, that's why racing sims do and sell well because people like that boring crap but I on the other hand prefer arcade style racing games.

The main reason that Need For Speed started a department to make racing sims is because they know that's an untapped market in their franchise so they wanted to appeal to those gamers while the rest of us cool kids get the play most wanted and the underground type games.

Otherwise its actually really cool. I love being the fbi agent and his crazy computer glasses.

Everything about Dead Island looks cool... except for the fact that it's about zombies. Seriously, I'd rather step on my own dick than ever watch another zombie movie or play another zombie game. Just a little bit overdone.

besides, cracked already proved how nature would destroy a zombie outbreak in weeks, lolz.

I think I'm going to cave and get a 3DS. OoT and MGS3 are enough to make me get it, oh, and the 3D thing is kinda cool too. I might wait till a price drop or something.
