played my 16-in-1 shoot-'em up comp yesternight
Gigawing Generations - too psychedelic for me Raiden III - very good Gunstar Heroes - comp of 3 Megadrive games - Gunstar Heroes (good), Alien Soldier (unwieldy), Captain Headdy (crap) Homura - very good Metal Slug 4 - kinda straight version of Alien Hominid Strikers 1945 1 & 2 - not as pixel-perfect or arcade-faithful as those on my Capcom comp |

Spent a good few hours today getting both incredibly lucky and unlucky with my Macedonian campaign on Rome: Total War. If any of you have played it, you should understand how stressful the game is when I say that I have eight enemies and a nearly stagnant economy.
