I don't know why everyone hates Bioshock 2. It's way funner, the ability to use plasmids and shoot at the same time is a godsend.

The environment's are just as good too, especially the amusement park.Honestly when i bought it i was expecting a more rushed sequel, i came away quite surprised at how good the game was.

Does anybody think they're going to try connecting it to bioshock 3 at all? Or is it just seperate stories entirely

the first one was one of the best games ever so it was never going to be easy to top it, but I'm still enjoying Bioshock 2 immensely. And you have more combat options in this one - I love using the drill dash for example....

I don't think Bioshock Infinite will have any tangible link to the storyline of the first two but it also sounds very promising....

The main reason I liked the first Bioshock so much was because of the story and atmosphere. I've never got that wrapped up in a video game before. The second one just kind of felt like a rehash of the first which made it lose its appeal.

Terrific game. Even better than the first.
And it's not that bad. But I poured so many hours into it.

It's not really. There's some gore in the movie sequences and they're fun to watch, but the game itself isn't really that good in my opinion. I remember it back when it was new (on 7 CDs!), it had lots of novelty factor about it and we thought it was brilliant .. But today it's sadly dated. It hasn't aged as well as some of the other adventure game classics. It may be worth playing through if you like that sort of stuff, but those who don't could resort to using a walkthrough or even just watching the vids on youtube I reckon.

The second game (puzzle of flesh) is also not very good, but may be potentially interesting for it's Lovecraft-esque story presented in B-movie style. Instead of playing it, you can also simply watch a playthrough on youtube.

Point & Click is my favorite genre, but I haven't encountered any puzzles in this one so far (and I'm now on chapter 4). Still, it's pretty interesting game. It's like watching a B horror movie
