I have a question for WoW players because I can't find it anywhere else on the internet and I'm scared of any WoW forums.

To tame exotic pets you have to have the highest rank of the Beast Mastery talent tree (for hunters of course). My primary talent is Beast Mastery and my secondary talent is Marksmanship, and for both of them I've reached the end of the tree. However I use Marksmanship all of the time as I just like the spec better. If I want to tame an exotic pet, can I just quickly switch over to the BM spec, tame the pet, and then switch back to Marksmanship? Or will the pet disappear when I change specs back...

Thanks, nerds.

I asked my guild mates and this is what they had to say. You can switch specs to catch the exotic pet. You have to be BM to do it but then after catching it. You can't use it in MM which is Marks. You still get to keep it but you can't use it. When you switch back to BM then you can use it again. That's how exotic pets work.

I've never played marksman, but when it comes to Survival spec and Beast Master, there's no doubt about it .. I have a lot more fun playing survival hunter which as a spec basically augments the staple hunter powers (traps, multi-shot, serpent shot). I still solo as BM though and people on the server now claim BM is the best raid spec. I haven't done a dps comparison myself, but I guess I'll hang on to it. I'm a bit worried I would lose Skoll, my spirit beast wolf, should I change the BM spec to MM :p:

BM is not the best raid spec. MM is. I saw some dps charts of different classes and it was either Surv or MM that was way ahead of the others.

It's Surv at the top of all DPS classes so my money is on Surv being the best raid spec at the moment. Unless they have nerfed certain things recently

I have a decision to make. Which game should I play through first? Uncharted 2? or Arkham Asylum GOTY edition?

To be fair, I've never played much of Gears of War online (by never played much, I mean, ever.)

But I'll let you know how I like the beta, anyway.

I'm still having fun with Bulletstorm, and I've already played for a total of 28 hours (with my girlfriend + my friend, and throw in some Solo).

Even so, I can't wait for Dragon Age 2 on March 8th, as the demo was fantastic.

And then Portal 2 on April 19th. (Oh Lawd.)

Hey Kirby!

what do you think of my question? I just edited it so you probably didn't see it before hand.

I don't know MM, but my general feeling is that I do more damage as survival hunter than as a beast master - particularly against large groups of mobs (better traps, better multi-shots). I guess the argument is that BM would be better in single target fights, but my personal feeling is that SV would still beat BM.

I've only played a little of the first Uncharted, so I can't really comment on Uncharted 2. But the first one was a pretty good game. And from just about everyone I've talked to has said that Uncharted 2 is better than the first in pretty much every way.

I can personally vouch for Arkham Asylum, however, and say that it's a fantastic game. Probably one of the best, if not THE best Batman game ever released. I had a lot of fun with it.

I'm inclined to say play Batman first, as I've played through it and thoroughly enjoyed it. But if you've already played Uncharted, and really enjoyed it, go for Uncharted 2 and let me know how it is.

Oh I don't know the ins and outs of being a hunter but SV is top dog when it comes to hunters with BM being directly behind MM in terms of dps potential

so it's SV first, MM second and BM dead last.

check out this link
it shows raid dps numbers by spec for one of the raid bosses in cata.
http://worldofwarcraft.tgn.tv/topic/...id-by-numbers/ MM and BM are the two worst pve raiding specs out of all dps specs/classes

hmm I'm leaning more towards Uncharted 2 because I finished the first one about a month or so ago. I love it! he's basically a male tomb raider but with better graphics , interesting plot and he's a smart ass.
