My main strategy in RE4 was to pistol zombies in the face (which causes one kind of stumble) or the knee (which causes another) and then performing the prompted melee attack. This does knock back all the other zombies in the immediate vicinity in addition to damaging the zombie you target. And I pretty much only used the pistol and the shotgun, with the semi-auto sniper being my power weapon of choice for select scenarios.
But Freebase, if I recall correctly different weapons have different headshot effectiveness. Different pistols, too, are better at instant-kill headshots than others. |

It looks like it'll be a completely different experience than Dead Rising was.
Also, games that I have pre-ordered are... Bulletstorm (Feb 22nd) Dragon Age 2 (March 8th) Portal 2 (April 19th) Rage (Sept. 19th) And games I'm pre-ordering soon... Battlefield 3 (Holiday '11) Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (November 11th) Metal Gear Solid: Rising (Not too sure. I think april?) and a couple others. This year is going to be fanfuckingtastic.
