I've been playing the Assassin's Creed series recently. I am completely blown away by how immersive the games are. The amazing graphics, detailed environments, and fluid movements really make me excited about what the future of video games has to offer.

I am too. I beat epsiode 2 again just recently and the ending makes me want to see more SO BADLY.

The source engine is a bit old. They've steadily improved it, but I believe they're gonna need to do a major overhaul before Episode 3 is released if they wanna avoid accusations of releasing "outdated" software. It could work if they released it now, but since there's no whiff of an announcement date yet, I figure it's still due for release in the distant future and the problem of the age of the source engine which might be a minor issue today is only going to get bigger in the future.

I guess they're working on it though!
