The crashes definitely do not ruin the game for me, I have a neutral opinion of them.

I've found Need For Speed to be an improvement on Burnout in every way. It plays far more gracefully, looks way better graphically, the rewards system is more motivating, and the online makes far more sense and is way more addictive.

Possibly my favorite racing game ever.
What? how does this remind you of Hot Pursuit 2? there is no manual, there are no ramps to give you air. I don't know....it's like they were close to hitting the nail on the head but they dropped the ball imo. It's getting very annoying that majority of the events are just time trials also.

WoW is? Its $15 a month...

Unofficial servers often have the rules changed greatly. Thats where you see things like one-guy wanding major raid bosses to death in something like 3 shots.

Also, you can get banned for being on them I believe.

I never used manual transmission anyways, so I don't really care. I totally forgot that they even had ramps in Hot Pursuit 2. But other than those two things, they're very similar. Same type of cars, same type of modes (cept these modes are way improved), weapons, be the cop, same type of gorgeous and picturesque environments... very similar games. Only other difference I can think of is that you're not doing laps in this one, which I'm cool with. I prefer point a-b type racing myself. This one, to me, is just a vast improvement. And I wouldn't say the majority of the events are time trials, but a lot of them are. I'm not too good at them myself, and I do feel your pain there. They can be pretty frustrating.

We should race together online sometime...I like playing the cops more....still working on my ranks in career. I haven't touch the racer side yet.

Kirby, I'm jealous of you and your RE 5 Gold edition. I need to get my hands on a copy of that.

$180 per year is expensive in my book.

The monthly price for MMO's is part of the reason I don't play them.
Why should I pay to play a game that I've already paid for?

the reason why you pay for MMOs is for the extra content that you get in future patches and for the maintenance of the servers....I feel like it's justified

If I wasn't playing a MMO, i'd spend way more than 180 on some other hobby

Wow (pun, hehe) I had no idea there were such things as unofficial servers on WoW? I like the server I'm on, I've got lots of friends and a good guild and stuff. But would be awesome to play with MB-ers...

So I'm at level 50 now, and so far I've only done 3 instances and each one I've just done with my level 85 housemate who's basically run me through them... I really want to actually do an instance properly with a group of players who are of similar level to me (with a tank, healer, and DPS characters...) but I have major anxiety playing with other players LOL. I'm worried they're gonna be complete *******s or that I'm going to be crap (I don't think I'm that great at the game...) Plus how do you go about finding a group for the dungeon you want to do and how does it work with quests etc?

Also, can anyone tell me what the key binding is for when you want to target something that someone else is targeting? I forgot it and can't figure it out again...

For getting groups, the easiest way is to use the dungeon finder. It puts you in a queue for a dungeon around your level range. Eventually, f.ex after five minutes, you can teleport straight to the dungeon with random team members. When the instance is done, you leave your group and get instantly teleported back to where you were before you got teleported in. The strength of this is that you can group pretty much whenever and there's no travel involved. The cons are that you don't get to pick your team mates and there's a limit on which instances you can do.

The other way is to go to a big city and ask for people to join you to wherever you want to go. Once you get a group, at least two in the group should travel to the dungeon. There's a meeting stone outside (most) instances and two members of a team can use it to teleport the other team members to that location. Then you enter and do the dungeon.
