Warcraft 3's custom games are amazing.

Line Tower Wars, Castle Fight, Gem TD, etc

Warcraft III is probably quite cheap now anyways. If you want battle.net, you should consider buying it.

It is a great game though. I was replaying the campaign a little while ago in preparation for WoW.

Making my way through the campaign of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 right now. It's alright. It's not bad by any means, but I fail to see what distinguishes it from the myriad of other war shooters coming out these days. I still have to try it online. Anyone played it online?

The online is what brings people back to the game.
The single player was pretty good.
The online is quite literally the best FPS I've played online, hands down.

I'm curious, what makes it better than COD? I'm interested in picking up BC2 but I've played COD to damned death and I'm tired of it, quite frankly.
