Just finished Mass Effect 1, just started Mass Effect 2 today. I fucking loved the first one and plan on playing it again once I finish the second one. BioWare are absolute geniuses.

Mass Effect is brilliant.
Didn't like the second as much, as they removed some of the RPG elements.
It's still a great game, though.

I also enjoyed Dragon Age, and it's a steal if you can get the ultimate edition that comes with all of the add-ons.

Mass Effect was suddenly over and I felt similarly about the second. Both ere a bit short, but they were good fun. However, I feel they perhaps get a bit hype just for being Bioware RPGs. I think I had more fun playing f.ex Assassin's Creed II or Red Dead Redemption than I did playing any of the Mass Effects.

Dragon Age was the most enjoyable out of these Bioware titles for me, although it had some pretty embarassing scenes in it. For example :

Spoiler for Dragon Age cutscene:

.. When Leliana did the nasty with my chubby dwarven fighter

^Ew. The worst thing about that was the thought that popped into my head while I was watching it, "Boo boo has probably masturbated to this."

Assassin's Creed games have always gotten tediously boring for me about halfway through.

I enjoyed Mass Effect 1 more than Red Dead Redemption, with that said, however, Red Dead Redemption is still one of the best games I've ever played, hands down.

It disturbs you because it's true.

That's definitely how I feel about the first one, but Brotherhood and II both had me addicted till the end. Some of the inane shit I do for achievements like viewpoints and borgia towers are tedious, but I think the amount of variety in the story missions is more than enough to keep my attention.

Also my first impression of ME2 is that I am expecting nothing short of greatness but the addition of ammo was a terrible idea. I don't see how it's supposed to be a new technology that replaced magic never ending bullets that occasionally overheat if you shoot them too much.

EDIT: I revoke my statement about ammo, it's definitely an improvement. but it still doesn't exactly make sense. oh well...

Yea, I finished AC2, and it's definitely better than the first one.
I just lost interest in it near the end.
I haven't played Brotherhood yet. All I need to do in AC2 now, is find all the feathers.

Also, I don't agree with the addition of ammo.
I'm still looking forward to Mass Effect 3 like a mofo, though.
