Oh man I agree. I'm going to have to play it through a couple more times because the overwhelming amount of scenarios there are for the main quest. It's awesome how much your desicions effect the world.

I've been having it for about 2 weeks now? and although I put about 35 hours into it, I still haven't even finished the game. I've been doing absolutely every peripheral quest and favor I can find (for the NCR or good karma) before I finish the game. Makes it fun because I still don't know what happens at the end. Next play-through will be to the aid of the Legion. Then I'll begin installing mods.
I hope my favorite mods from Fallout 3 get ported by then.

How is Black Ops? I'd like an objective opinion on it that isn't influenced by blatant COD/Halo/Battlefield/anyotherkindof fanboyism.

When Yahtzee does his review for it I'll let you know.

Haha, as funny as he is, you can hardly take him seriously. He's like a stand-up comedian: he finds entertaining issues and discusses them in an interesting manner, but he's hardly the critical analyst I'm looking for.

Same here. So far I've talked to one guy today at school who played all night last night... and he's a huge Modern Warfare tool, and even he said he didn't like Black Ops as much as Modern Warfare...
To me, that's a good thing.. as that guy is pretty much all about camping and lone wolf. If the Call Of Duty franchise has taken steps to become a bit less conducive to only playing it for kill/death ratio then I'll buy into it. But so far I've only heard his side. I'm still open minded about getting it though. I'm just less into a game where the most thinking you have to do is involved in gunning and location.

Well, I'm a bit of a Halo fanboy myself, so I'm reluctant to bash it so soon. I just hate Activision and everything that they stand for. If anyone has the time, and they care about gamers as consumers, they should read this article. Very eye-opening.

good K : D ratios enhance e-peen!

but i agree, the most fun i've ever had in a fps was playing competitive CS 1.6.
