Really making me want an Xbox 360 again Freebase... and with the fact that you can get used arcade ones for like $120 bucks it's making it all the more tempting... I got so sucked into Fallout 3 when it first came out two years ago... it was a shame that my second 360 died before I ever got a chance to finish it, or even really get deep into the mechanics like you have.

If your computer is up to the task, you should get it for PC.
Specifically for the inevitable mods that will be made by Fallout users that will extend your play experience for years after the release date. Plus, you won't have to buy a console. :D

I would totally love to update my computer to a gaming PC however I just don't have the money for that right now. I can get an Xbox 360 and catch up on nearly a year and a half of games I've wanted to play for half of what it would cost to upgrade my PC into something respectable. Sadly my computer is quite small and I would pretty much need to build it from scratch, at that rate it would just be easier to buy a gaming PC. I understand I'll be missing out on all of the mods, but it's not the only thing I want to play.

I hear ya.
I don't really play many games outside the 2 I currently play, so my scenario is a bit different, but I can understand where you're coming from.
I have a decent PC and it would cost me far less to upgrade the graphics card or what have you, than to buy a console, so that serves me pretty well. Although I still do hear about console games that aren't on PC and daydream longingly. :D

Anyway, your overview of New Vegas has convinced me to get it, as much as Fallout 3 pissed me off in certain parts. The thing that I like about Fallout is just the explore factor.

Well rigged up a projector in my living room and set it up with my laptop bring a whole new online experience to co4 fully loving it again. Just bought the new map pack but regretting it already not that impressed with them, especially as black opps is so close..... bad move on my part....

Any recommendations for similar games to cod with a better online set up????

Fallout New Vagas. I agree with the above post. It's awesome. I guess I can play for another hour before I need to do some work

They're not really sequels. I don't think they're related in many ways. So I wouldn't push yourself to finish Fallout 3 just to get to New Vegas. Take your time and enjoy yourself and it will be immensely more interesting.
